![]() Just position the next block next to that one and move back or forwards until it is in the right postion. Don't worry if you find it not at the edge if the wall. If you can find the centre of one wall then stand facing the wall and looking up again move back or forwards to get the green highlight. This I found most tricky to start with but now I know the way they work it's easy now. Keep doing this until you have all walls in place. Now to add a wall next to the corner is almost the same procedure. If you want to place a corner piece on the floor, stand facing the corner and move either closer of away from the corner till you get the green outline. This maybe dificult for me to put into words what I need to say but I'll give it a go lol The way to place objects depends on the angle you need to place objects together. It took me ages to build my 1st base but I can now build one in a very short space of time. I agree the building does takes quite a bit to get it right. I know theres some way to do it, I have seen pics of other nomads who have done it, but I thought it was just as simple as placing them together and wa-la! Problem is I cant find anything in the build section that makes it look seemless. On another note, how do you connect a set of stairs together without using a ceiling or foundation? They wont snap together for me without using some sort of bridge. Empyrion had a drone that covered a better way to build, while I dont think we need a drone here, we do need that sorta of movement and flexibility to be able to build effortlessly, effectively and efficiently. Its not a horrible system, it just needs better snapping and the ability to leave your avatar standing still and be able to move the camera anywhere so theres better views. Its tolerable in Creative but in Survival, every second counts. Ive tried rotating around the object, Ive tried zooming in, zooming out.its basically all the same, its tedious and takes a lot of time. ![]() Ive tried first person view, third person view. I use the rectacle and point it to a object for connection, sometimes it works, sometimes it gives me the green light and its off by a little bit.
